You, Yourself, and I

Who do you think you are?
Why do you talk about yourself so much?
Why do you complicate everything?
Why do you think that if you turn your thoughts inside out before you wash them that they will keep their color longer?

Why do you wish to be anyone but yourself?
Why are you staring at me like that?
Why can't you get out of your own head?
Why are you so obsessed with coming across as an intellectual?

Why can't you just make up your mind?
Why do you have to look outside of yourself for validation?

Why do you keep referring to yourself as you?

Why am I so goddamn hard on myself?
